The man behind the
ATLAS Cycles Empire, Salil
Kapur is a very successful entrepreneur today.
Currently he is the President of
ATLAS Cycles
(Haryana) Ltd. and regarded as a visionary who
‘thinks big’ and doesn’t hesitate to take risks
wherever possible to expand the reach of his
company; Kapur was inducted into the family business
35 years ago at a very young age. The initial period
of rigorous training under the watchful eyes of his
forefathers gave him the confidence to take on any
challenges that came his way. His deep knowledge in
business and economics has earned him respect as a
mentor in the organization and in the bicycle
industry.
Salil Kapur has acquired immense knowledge and
experience in International trade by participating
regularly in several prominent trade seminars across
the globe. A dynamic leader, he has been
instrumental in the ATLAS Group’s diversification
into the Indian healthcare market under the new
venture “ATLAS Laboratories &
Pharmaceuticals Ltd.”
Born on September 22, 1953, Mr. Kapur is a
Graduate of Commerce from Delhi University. He lives
in Delhi with his family and has two sons who are
now part of the business. |

Sanjay
Kapur
Joint Managing Director
Sanjay Kapur is the Joint President and
Co-Promoter of
ATLAS Cycles Ltd. He is actively
involved in the day-to-day administration and
coordination work within the organization. A firm
proponent of the belief that ``nothing drives you
better than you, yourself’’, he is a die-hard
optimist who loves taking challenges and turning
them into lucrative business opportunities. He is a
self-motivated person with an infectious enthusiasm
and has inspired his people to redefine their
potentials and thus scale the seemingly
insurmountable goals.
A Commerce Graduate from Delhi University Kapur
has spent most of his career in sales and marketing.
He has earned respect as specialist in his
respective fields, both in domestic and
international markets with immaculate sense of
business and strategy.
Sanjay Kapur was born on April 6, 1959 and lives
in Delhi with his family and children. |

Ashwin
Kapur
Executive
Director
Ashwin Kapur is the younger son of Salil Kapur and
holds the designation of Vice President in
ATLAS Cycles (Haryana) Ltd. With his
induction to the ATLAS group of
Business, Ashwin is now strategically involved with
a wide spectrum of key responsibilities within the
group. His focus at
ATLAS Cycles is to
help take the Company to the next level of
appreciation from all its stakeholders, be it the
investors or the customers.
He is actively involved in the day-to-day as well as
strategic matters of ATLAS
Laboratories &
Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (ALPL).
In this era of competition, he firmly believes in
harmonizing operations by leveraging the employee’s
potential. His confidence, and conviction have been
sheer motivating factors among the people who work
with him. He envisions ALPL to be a
leading Pharmaceutical Company in the coming times,
promising high quality healthcare products that
combine innovation with value pricing.
Ashwin holds a graduate degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Economics, and Business Administration
from the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US. |

Prashannt
Kapur
Director
Prashannt Kapur, the eldest son of Salil Kapur
joined the organization in July 2004. He is the
Vice- President of ATLAS Cycles (Haryana) Ltd and
has been successfully managing the operations of
ATLAS Steel Tubes Industries. His high adaptability
to the changing global scenario and sensitivity
towards the market trends has enabled him to keep
the company fiercely competitive in both the global
and domestic markets.
A Management Graduate from Kingston University,
England, Prashannt possesses a zeal for things of an
entrepreneurial nature. He can be credited with
bringing a breath of fresh, youthful energy to the
Group and also a sharper focus to the ongoing
ventures.
Prashannt ardently follows his grandfather’s
business philosophy and aims to be one of the
successful businessmen of the country. |

Siddhant
Kapur
Director
Siddhant Kapur, son of Sanjay Kapur has recently
joined the Organization as the Vice President of
ATLAS Cycles (Haryana) Ltd.
A meticulous person by nature, Siddhant is
well-admired in the organization for his lateral
thinking. Driven by his youthful energy and high
motivation levels, he has added a welcome dose of
strength and freshness to the management. |
