it is a pleasure sharing with you that we have
successfully launched ATLAS
Laboratories and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (ALPL)
with a state of the art Pharmaceutical Formulations
Plant in Hardwar.
The Indian pharmaceutical industry is at the
center stage in the global pharmaceutical arena and
estimated to be worth $ 4.5 billion, growing at
about 14 percent annually. We are fortunate enough
to be equipped with competent work force,
cost-effective chemical synthesis, legal & financial
framework, improved research and development
facilities in India which support our endeavor to
enter the pharmaceutical segment.
Also, the growing Healthcare needs of our
citizens and the demand-supply imbalance of
medicines urged us to foray into this noble cause of
manufacturing and
contract manufacturing of
medicines. It is a conscious effort of the
ATLAS family to fulfill the dreams of
millions for a healthy country and set new
benchmarks of corporate social responsibility.
We have been a leading player in the Indian
bicycle manufacturing industry for over 55 years and
the company's foray into the pharmaceutical sector
marks its endeavor to utilize this vast experience
and business acumen in creating another legendary
business venture.
