Director ALPL attends VIIth Indo Arab Conference organized by ASSOCHAM

BUSINESS MEETINGS WITH THE COMMERCIAL COUNSELLORS OF ARAB AND AFRICAN COUNTRIES
Mr. Ashwin Kapur, Director ALPL, attended the VIIth Indo Arab Conference organized by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). As a part of its initiatives to improve India's international trade, ASSOCHAM has particularly been promoting efforts to enhance India's commercial ties and trade relations with the countries of the Arab world and the African continent. As a part of these efforts, 7th Indo–Arab Conference was organised on Wednesday August 8, 2007 at Chandigarh.
Punjab's Honorary Finance Minister, Mr. Manpreet Badal inaugurated the conference amidst a high decibel presence of ambassadors and high commissioners of different Arab and African countries. Significantly, during the discussion on trade and investment opportunities and possible collaboration, Mr. Kapur was invited by the moderator to share his thoughts and plans for any potential business opportunities in these destinations. Mr. Kapur shared the vision for the business of the Atlas Group of companies, particularly the new venture, Atlas Laboratories & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He also elucidated the company's growth focus in the coming future that will involve in collaborations with the countries of Africa and that of the Arab World.
